ITS Michigan Nov Quarterly Meeting

The ITS Michigan 2007 Fall Meeting will focus on ITS developments with the unifying theme of collaborative efforts between Michigan and International partners. Featured will be Trent Victor of the Volvo Technology Corporation joining us from Goteborg, Sweden; Jerry Conover providing a reprise of the Beijing World Congress; Michael Noblett, a preview of what promises to be an extraordinary New York City World Congress 2008; and Greg Krueger describing the prominent Michigan Role in New York City.

National Transportation Week Detroit

National Transportation Week - Detroit 2008

Detroit has been officially named as the host city of National Transportation Week beginning in 2007 and each year thereafter. ITS Michigan is a proud supporter and participant in this national event and will hold its 2008 annual meeting & expo during the week celebrating transportation.

2007 Annual Meeting Presentations

Roadway Weather SystemTS Michigan is pleased to announce that all of the 2007 Annual Conference presentations are available on our ftp site immediately. The user name and password are as follows (enter exactly as shown as it is case sensitive User=itsmichigan and PW=AnnualConf2007). In addition, many pictures were taken and these are made available via this link.

Our ITS Michigan Annual Meeting in Novi May 16-17 set a new standard. It was our largest attendance and our largest exhibit ever. Nearly 300 attendees came from 24 states, the District of Columbia, the United Kingdom, and Sweden.....

The ITS Michigan Board of Directors has concluded that our annual meeting should be held in conjunction with National Transportation .....

ITS Michigan strives to be a leader among ITS America State Chapters, and this very successful annual meeting helped to demonstrate our leadership. As a result of this meeting, 40 new organizations have joined ITS Michigan....

ITS Michigan Quarterly Event

ITS Michigan along with Co-sponsor, SE Michigan Arterial Traffic Management Committee, hosted a Summer Meeting at UMTRI on the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus. The well attended event boasted nationally known experts in several disiplines of Vehicle Infrastructure Integration. Junge Family Champion Center with its' top notch facilities is located adjacent to the UM Stadium. As a lunch time highlight we were invited to the 50 yard line via "The Tunnel" where more than a few made touchdowns. The meeting finished off with a tour or UMTRI's simulation & testing facilities.

The Vehicle Infrastructure Integration Showcase Comes to Michigan

The Vehicle Infrastructure Integration Showcase was in Michigan for the Convergence Conference in Detroit October 17-18 and Grand Rapids at Fifth Third Ball Park on October 19. The Intelligent Transportation Society of Michigan promotes the use of computer and communication technology to make travel safer and more efficient in Michigan.
